Computer Repair Let's face it, when your computer doesn't work the way it should, it can be frustrating and confusing. It's not always easy to know where to go to get good help, and it is often intimidating to try and fix a problem by yourself. Info Link can help! Our staff of computer savvy technicians can diagnose and fix errors, as well as order and install new parts. Whatever the problem, we will do whatever it takes to restore your computer to working order. We're also happy to help you upgrade your computer, and recommend options that are right for your needs. Computer Cleanup During a computer cleanup, we remove adware, spyware and viruses. All of these programs slow down your computer, making it slow and glitchy. They can also cause errors, hog your bandwidth (making your Internet seem slower) and can even be risking your security. Along with bringing your computer back up to speed, we will install Mozilla Firefox on your computer. This browser is more secure than Internet Explorer and can help prevent adware and spyware infestations in the future. A cleanup usually takes a few hours, so you don't have to go days without your computer. All we need is the tower, no cables or accessories are necessary. Most computers we receive for cleanups are finished later that day, or by the following business day. Hardware Installation If you want to add hardware such as a new hard drive, CD-ROM, or more memory to your computer, but you don't feel comfortable installing it yourself, we're happy to help! Most hardware installations take between 15 and 45 minutes. Regular labor charges apply.* If you don't know what upgrade would be best for your needs, our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help to guide you in the right direction. We can even order parts for you so you don't have to worry about things like compatibility, brand name quality, or if you are actually ordering what you need. We can also install hardware you have already purchased. Software Installation If you have software such as games or anti-virus programs that you wish to install or re-install, but you aren't sure how, Info Link can help! Software installation times vary by complexity of the software. Regular labor charges apply.* General Repair and Troubleshooting If you don't know what is wrong with your computer, we can find and fix the problem! Think of Info Link as your computer "mechanic" shop where you can bring your computer when it isn't working the way it should (or won't turn on at all) and we can quickly diagnose a problem, give you an estimate on repair, and fix it for you. If you aren't sure that your old computer is worth hours of repair cost, you can set a dollar limit for diagnostics and we will not exceed that limit -- period! Regular labor charges apply.* Internet Connection Setup If you have Info Link dial-up or highspeed wireless Internet and need to set up a new computer or need to re-setup your connection in an old machine, Info Link can configure your Internet and e-mail settings free of charge. As always, our support technicians can talk you through this process on our toll free support line, but if you prefer, we can set it up for you in the office, just bring in the tower (no cords or peripherals needed) to our office and we will configure it quickly and easily! | ||
